Last week Mazda mailed me their brochure of accessories and a little bottle of touchup paint.

I'm interested in the door edge guards, but the brochure lists no prices and on mazdausa.com it's the same thing (no price in the PDF download).

Anyone have an idea if the guards are available yet and what they cost?

Or can I just buy noname guards at my local Kragen's?

They are around $37, whats nice is that they are in your body color. You can order thru your dealer.

 

I ordered them with my car on August 8th. The dealer claims that they were instructec to place an order every Monday until the Mazda computer responds with a confirmation. Currently, looks like I'll put the car away for the winter before the edge guards arrive!

 

I need some of these..

 

I asked my dealer and they mumbled something about $100, that'd be quite a markup, next time I have to talk to someone else there. They were not in stock.
