I am pretty sure the new ECM flashes fixed that problem I remember back in 2005 alot of people had pictures of there cars shooting flames but not much anymore

It's not a problem! It's a feature!

Have you tried revving it hard and bouncing it off the limiter? Once its warm I bet doing that will get it to shoot fire. I can't say that I'd try it on my car though.

Its due to unburnt fuel. My friend Mike has a the Turbo EX Exhaust with a race pipe and he shoots flames.

no shame flames are cool....rev up to 8k and let off the gas complety and press back on all the way repeatedly until you here a loud pop when it pops there will be flames out the rear........it also does it when you shift at high revs 1-2 and 2-3 etc......
heres a vid,

It would be cheaper to just gut the stock cat.

So far it seems the mazsport ignition solution is the best bang for your buck as far as hp per dollar spent.

Test pipe? What's a test pipe?

A pipe you are testing on your RX8? Or is it something you use to test tabacco?

If it's a test anything can happen.

You mean midpipe.

they are called testpipe cause that's what car manufacture plant use to test the engine horsepower on a vehicle before they start mass production on that vehicle

Not if you ever need to return the car to stock it isn't. Better to buy a stove pipe from home despot and JBweld it into place

Yeah i shoot flames , just let your car warm up first...its not like its hard to do lol. It happens mostly when i shift or engine break , that video was lame...they tried so hard to do that and it was like a small spark. Mine is like a stream of fire and a ball of flame at the end , not really good with cops at night .
