No, it does not. I asked the dealer that question before I bought mine. Usually the airbag switch is only on 2 seaters. You can pull the airbag fuse but I wouldn't suggest that.

Yeah, good point. I don't think I've ever seen it on a 4 seater but it's still a nice option given the size of the vehicle. It's certainly not a stretch to think that you could have three little kids in your car. I like having it on my TT (even though there isn't a back seat...I'll ask my friend if he has it on his coupe) since it at least offers the option.

My wife's MDX has this wierd automatic airbag turner offer. Somehow, it will sense whether there's a child goofing off in the front seat (not sitting properly) and will automatically disable the passenger airbag... or so the manual says. There's a light on the dash on what almost looks like a button, but there's no manual override for it.

I wish my 8 had a switch though. When I take my son to his Tae Kwon Do class I have to load him in the back, then I feel like a chauffer.

TT may have one since the convertible version is a two seater. They probablky share the same interior trim.

The MDX has a weight sensor in the passenger seat for the air bag. You can sit on one cheek and set it off Also, my wife's purse sometimes triggered it!

I was told there was a weight sensor in the passenger seat that disables it if the weight is under a certain setting.

If they put the switch in UK cars, there's no reason it can't be included on a North American market car.
