Thats nothing...so far during Spetember and October I have had my car stolen and lost my job! Yay for me!

Hopefully, you got an insurance check for the car and can use that money to live off till you get a job.

 

I know its a long shot but if this happens to anyone else again ring the police or otherwise call around to see the guys in blue to report it. More often than not if it is an attempted break in it may be linked to other crimes such as robberies etc.

With a bit of luck they'll have a forensic officer rostered on duty who may be able to dust for prints or swab for DNA, and with a bit more luck nail the miscreant(s).

As I said its a long shot, because they may be busy attending to other priority jobs, but you can only try.

The other thing you could do is to install an audible alarm.....
