Does Alumimum cover intake cause FIRE??

Does Alumimum cover intake cause FIRE??

Do u guys know if i use heat resistant alumimun cover the intake will cause fire or anything wrong with the engine?? Alumimun won't cause FIRE right?

I really doubt the underhood temps. would cause an aluminum intake shroud to burst into flames... this thread on the other hand though... :D

heat resistant alumimun cover the intake will prob not cause fire or anything wrong with the engine

last car exhaust manifold aluminum cover had

I have the Rotary Extreme intake & it uses aluminum for the intake shroud & I have had no issues with it.

Power Steering Fluid...probably the most flamable substance in most engine bays...Thankfully, RX8 owners don't have to worry about that

buurn dont get it it causes fires go search you will see the 1000+ fires we have had on this board alone! dont get it
