Uhm... that counts as a MOD. Welcome to the Fast & Furious crowd

I've got a MS Shift ****! Yay me! But hey, it's something I notice every day.

I agree that tires are probably the easiest, most noticable and safest "mod" to make. I can't wait to wear out the OEMs... or for winter to get here to get back on the Pirellis. It's a totally different driving experience with quality tires.

I thought all hobbies did that? and the value of your car is decreasing by the second. Personal enjoyment.

N E ways, prime example that modding is better: Corvette and camaro. Same engine. But the camaro had cheap parts in it so average people could afford it. The Corvette was modded with premium parts in all aspects.

That was of course until vette owners started complaining of this, and wanted more exclusivity.

Don't knock it until you've tried it.
Corvette and Camaro have the same engine? Really? LOL you are funny

I agree with that, it's all about personalizing your ride and what makes you happy...but to say a Corvette is a modded Camaro shows that you don't know what you are talking about... LOL

IMO, modding a car turns it into more of a hobby than just a means of transportation.

People fool around with their cars so basically we have dragsters, racers and ricers. Some mod for the need for performance to shorten ET, some just got too addicted to moddin for the sake of modding.

Clearly he wasn't talking about Mazda. All their cars are underpowered. You have to mod it if you want more speed as Mazda doesn't make them like that out of the factory - Mazdaspeed or not.

Friends dont let friends drive stock.

I have done many mods to the car short of FI. And have not regretted a penny spent. If you do your homework before buying and do not have unrealistic expectations all the mods for this car are fun and add value. IMO.

Enjoy your car in all their forms.

As a general rule...fun costs money. The more you pay out the more you get. That's why a turbo cost so much more. Honestly the parts probably don't cost anywhere near what they sell them for, of course I know they have to pay for their R&d but still.

Hey, let's put it this way I already got my wishlist made out!

Camaro

Ha ha even when the Camaro was made it was nowhere near this LOL
The Camaro Z28/SS, Trans Am, and the C5 Corvette had virtually the same engine (LS1) for 1998 til the end of the F body production. Also, despite their different ratings the higher end F body models and the Corvette dynoed almost the same.

Before being a jackass in the future know what the hell you're talking about, thanks.
