I agree that tires are probably the easiest, most noticable and safest "mod" to make. I can't wait to wear out the OEMs... or for winter to get here to get back on the Pirellis. It's a totally different driving experience with quality tires.

Any fast car is going to have reliability issues. The general public doesn't want to worry about getting their car serviced regulary every 5K miles or most of them dont want to watch the oil level!

N E ways, prime example that modding is better: Corvette and camaro. Same engine. But the camaro had cheap parts in it so average people could afford it. The Corvette was modded with premium parts in all aspects.

That was of course until vette owners started complaining of this, and wanted more exclusivity.

Don't knock it until you've tried it.

I agree with that, it's all about personalizing your ride and what makes you happy...but to say a Corvette is a modded Camaro shows that you don't know what you are talking about... LOL

People fool around with their cars so basically we have dragsters, racers and ricers. Some mod for the need for performance to shorten ET, some just got too addicted to moddin for the sake of modding.

Friends dont let friends drive stock.

I have done many mods to the car short of FI. And have not regretted a penny spent. If you do your homework before buying and do not have unrealistic expectations all the mods for this car are fun and add value. IMO.

Enjoy your car in all their forms.

As a general rule...fun costs money. The more you pay out the more you get. That's why a turbo cost so much more. Honestly the parts probably don't cost anywhere near what they sell them for, of course I know they have to pay for their R&d but still.
