Looking to trade my 05 Shinka (probably) for a 40th ae with some lower miles. It seems that there are several exterior trim packages that came with the 40th ae.

I thought (and am surprised) that all 40th's did not at least come with the "rotary accent" package. This makes it kinda frustrating trying to find a decent deal with the right trim.

I think I read that the 40th was a "model" and not a package, and thus came with different options as far as appearance etc. It still makes it difficult to ascertain what consistently "comes" with the 40th.

 

The 40th AE was a "Run out" version for the Series-I.

From what I have learnt, all 40th AE models where made in late 07 as Series-II production started in JAN or FEB-08. (yet to confirm)

The features, colours varied from export country to export country. The JDM version was different (slightly) again.

It depends on where you are (and I dont know, since your location is not registered) as to what the 40th comes with. In the States, you CAN get the rotary accent package with a 40th. I know because I have one. In the US it was available with all the normal add ons (Rotary Accents, Fender Strakes, Appearance Pack, Spoiler, etc). Its basically a special color exterior/interior/wheels package on top of the GT. The only thing I have not seen here is a 40th with Nav... (but that does not mean you couldn't get it)
