Interesting ...

I have a 2005 GT without NAV and the car came with the Dunlop tires. Also, it didn't come with the front mudguards and none of the 05 GT's sitting on the dealer lot have it installed either. I'll have to check my build date.

The US is the only place where the sunroof is mandatory with the GT or Touring package (or their equivalent). Everywhere else it's optional.
That's the reason I don't have the GT... damn MNAO.

Also, someone already mentioned that the recommended oil in Europe is 5W-30 - so nobody needs to fret if they can only find 5W-30 or if the dealer puts that in the car.

The cars in the UK are rated 18.1 mpg city and 32.5 mpg(!) "extra urban".

Remember that UK gallon is larger than US gallon...
UK gallon = 1.201 US gallons
US gallon = 0.8327 UK gallon
In reality, 32.5 mpg is probably for the 192ps version and is not real world test. Best fuel consumption to be expected with 70% urban driving and 30% city is around about 23 - 27 mpg (UK gallons) for any version but best figure for low power version of course.

Personally the best that I have achieved is 23.5 mpg with 303 miles on a tank before filling up (on 230ps version) and that was mixture of easy-going and spirited driving with mostly extra-urban miles. Other UK owners have reported a 27mpg return! :p

Hey, I've always wanted to know, but too lazy to search... where does the TPMS show the alerts on the RX-8? And what does it look like?
