How about when you try to take a siesta in the 8, recline the seat, lean back, and my head fits just PERFECTLY onto the metal rotary indent. Doesn't make for the most comfortable nap. :-\

It's not a design flaw, it's a feature. You can replace your wiper blades while standing in the shade.

Thank you all!! This thread just brightened my otherwise dull day at the office!! I'm still chuckling . . . :rollingla

WHAT HATH I WROUGHT?

(I am ashamed to admit it but I was semi-serious when I posted this, hence the placement in the Discussion forum. :hangs head:)

(On a side note, for some reason, I am always being asked if I am high. Are my observations that outragous?)

Maybe it's the blind mouse av.
It's for medicinal purposes only, right? :smoker:

I do think that the rocker switches are kind of lame, though. They should just be one touch on/off so that the seat warmers automatically reset to off when the car is turned off.

My warmers are plenty warm for me. They seem to get about body temperature. But I do live in Dallas. The experience of Northerners may vary.

I didn't say elbow...I don't see how that's possible. The mid-point of my arm touches the buttons. When I'm shifting south into second or fourth, the buttons sometimes go off if I'm resting my arm on the console. I suppose if you shift using your palm on top of the stick instead of the joystick-fighter-jet style, it wouldn't happen much. I'm 6'1", 6'4" wing-span if that matters.

I am the only design flaw I am aware of in my Mazda.

BunnyGirl 03-24-2006 03:30 PM

That was cute. :)

Another design flaw is that you can get tickets with this car.

The Bridgestone Potenza RE040 tires are a design flaw.

Raptor2k 03-24-2006 05:56 PM

^o rly?

 If you had searched you would have found 50 threads on this issue... :lol2:

Well, MY seat warmers are embarrassingly weak, compared to my friends' VW and Audi, respectively. Which was what motivated me to want seat warmers in the first place. Hmmm, based on this thread, I'm almost wondering if maybe I'm accidently hitting the switch off and not realizing it....

And if he had, then *I* never would've gotten to find out about it. I don't understand people's obsession with stale old threads when we can have nice, new, minty-fresh ones like this.

You do realize that the search thing was a joke, right?

No, I didn't realize that. I guess I'm just too ground down by all the search nazis around here. I offer you my apologies.
