(The older paint will always be to some degree- more oxidized by the sun, in color.) So that takes some labor to do. Whitewater Pearl is also metallic, so it might be more expensive. (My car was Oriental Blue Metallic, so also a metallic paint.)

I know how you feel though... It really sucks, because it's really unbelieveable what ******** some other people can be. But, after you go through this, you'll be less sensitive to it and just realize that you have to protect yourself by being a picky when it comes to parking spaces.

You'll feel better after it's fixed.
thank you Dietrich.

my insurance company is still trying to pursue the other party with the statement i finally obtained from the deputy sheriff late this evening.

it does driving me insane seeing the scratch and dent every second i walk into my car.

i had something like this happen to me not too long ago.... needless to say i may have over-reacted. i went out of my way to park where i wasnt exposed to damage, and someone still managed to find me and park halfway in my spot. they door dinged me and the moment i saw it i was furious. i may have gone on a 12 year old style rampage, or temper tantrum that may have involved some serious vandalism to someone elses car. i feel pretty foolish about it now, but it was very very satisfying at the time to systematically disassemble someones car in broad daylight.

I wish you the best of luck in persuing this matter. I really hope you sock it to the bastards (although I can't say that I'm optimistic about your prospects) I confess that, were it me, I probably wouldn't have the time to persue it. But I hope you succeed. They carelessly damaged your property and should pay for it.

These posts have been interesting to read. I can relate to those suggesting you just pay for the repair and drop the small claims court action. But, I also understand very well your feelings. For you, it's the principle as much as anything. I must admit that there have been times when I have spent more time and money bringing somone to justice than the cost of the damages incurred. I usually pursued "justice" when the situation kept eating away at me inside. Upon prevailing, I could at least get a good night's sleep. I wish you luck with whatever direction you choose to take.

i did call them. the cost just to have the dent pulled out is quiet shocking, i was told it wud start from 175 to 250 at least plus the scratch will still remain there..

i am still waiting some words from my insurance rep. as he is working diligently to pursue this case.

Try to avoid that - it may result in more dents.

i asked the occupant and they ******* denied that. deputy sherriff was called but cudnt do ****. i called my insurance company and its cost less than my dedutible to repair. chance dont look good to get the other insurance pay for it.
i tried to use the touch paint to paint chipping but seems it makes it looks worst. i wont use that anymore ughh

do i just drop this claim instead.....rather that cause my premiun increased ???
feel like want to kill ............................
Just key the rental. If they dont have inc on the rental they will have to pay for the damage's!
