I used to have the Borla with a Mazsport DR midpipe.. that was deep.

But now I have a Mazdaspeed Dual exhaust with the Racing Beat DR midpipe and it's as deep if not deeper.

The Mazdaspeed is really deep even with the stock cat, much more then I had expected.

^ @05rex8

alz0rz speaks the truth, the MS exhaust is quite deep with the stock cat I used to have this exhaust.

While we had a chance we did a side-by-side of the Borla (my car) and the TXS (his car). According to Easy_E1 and Flashwing, the TXS sounded deeper than the Borla. Then, we installed the BHR Midpipe on his car (mine already had one) and the opinions were even MORE resolute; the TXS has a nice, DEEP, tone with zero raspiness.

At this point, I have to follow the observations of my team and say that the most wicked combo to date might be the TXS cat-back with the BHR Midpipe. We'll be presenting it at SSXII.
That local guy had it with the stock cat? I'd love to hear a comparison. I've heard the youtube videos, but they all sound similar to me between the MS, Borla, and RB. The Turboxs sounds a little higher pitched in these videos, I don't know.

obx is garbage.. haha borla has the deepest tone that i've heard. I have AP on mine with much larger tips than borla, but the borla is deeper, mine is just louder haha

I agree on the audio intake of cameras. I've heard the AP exhausts, the HKS, and I think one TurboXS (thanks to the meet), but I don't remember the TurboXS being deep.

I really want to make a side by side comparison of the B&B, Borla, MS, and Twister (which is probably impossible).

We put the BHR midpipe on a Turbo XS exhaust the other day.
I'm not kidding that was an AWESOME TONE! Deep and sexy!

And OMG! That is the combo I want now. Anybody want a lightly used MS V2 with an SR gutted cat midpipe?

Thank you for all the responses. I really do appreciate it. At the moment I think I'm leaning toward the Racing Beat as I hear that it doesn't get annoyingly loud when you don't want it to but then comes to life as you rev. Can anyone else confirm this. Also what is probably the best midpipe for street use that also will be deep and nice without being annoyingly loud as well?
