Out of these two cars, which one do you think is the better deal? More than likely I can get the second talked down. I haven't seen either of these cars in person, but was trying to get an idea on the better deal. FYI Titanium Gray is my favorite color, but BB is a close second.

So what Ive been able to conclude is I am a bit biased because I
1. have a Nordic Green and hate how dirty the darker colors get
2. really wanted the gray when looking for my 8
3. see the gray has been brought to dealership for all (or most) work done
The Black car has it's pluses it has exhaust or at least nice tips, has been maintained by it's owner (although waxed it mentions the scratches can be buffed out, hmmmmm.) New tires, slightly lower mileage, most likely a member of this forum and has received good advise and knowledge from fellow members.
The Gray car has pluses as well, it has new tires as well, taken to the dealership for work done (hence the replacement potenzas) sure it could have been discount tire or something but I think this person drove the car, and maintained it like normal.
Your choice should be, do you want the car someone took care of him/herself and may not have used the recommended 5/20 oil and the car that was taken to the dealership may or may not have changed the oil on time, who knows the dealership may have records in the computer or glove box.
I recommend contact both, and schedule an appointment. Ask to see maintenance records, check it out thoroughly then make your decision. Dont let the dealership pressure you to buy they're on commission.

Honestly, the price seems a bit high on both. I just bought my Copper Red 06 Shinka for 15950. The beauty only has 30k miles on it... I would most definitely try to talk them down to at least 13000 if in top condition. By the by, I would totally opt for the gray. It is my second favorite color... next to mine of course! You're going to love your ride either way!

That's a tough call. You might be able to get a better price on the gray since it's at a dealership, but the black has lower mileage. Also you know the owner of the black one cared for the car, because of the few visible modifications (clears and strakes). But it also seems as though he has an aftermarket exhaust or at least tips, which he doesn't mention in the ad, so I'd find out about that because if he has aftermarket exhaust he's probably got other mods too. If he does then the question becomes do you want to buy a car that has already had work done to it or do you want to do it yourself? And do you trust someone else's work? If the answer is no then the gray would be your best bet.

I'm also in the market for a used 8. My top price was 15,000 but I am willing to spend UP TO that. I just thought of it... but should I be looking at up to 17 or 18k in that case seeing I can haggle the price down?
I know dealerships mark way up and I plan on buying from a dealership, but generally how high IS the markup?
