Dealer bought me a new muffler

Brought the car in for a oil change and told the customer service person I wanted the tech to move my exhasut tip out slightly, maybe 3/4 an inch. One was sticking out a little more, only I would have noticed it. I pick the car up and they ordered me a totally new unit. They said it was a Mazda defect on the unit. BTW, my car is an 04 w/ 30k..

I had the same problem with my factory tips, one was sticking out more than the other. Sloppy weld job...
I replaced the tips with new ones since then, because I didn't like the OEM ones too much.
