Hi! I have not been on the board in several months...wow...some changes here!
Anyway....I just got 18.5 mpg city. Better than last weeks 17.75mpg. I use 89 octane and started out very disappointed when I first got my 8....only got 12-13mpg and I have about 10,500 miles on it now. Noticed a change around 8000 miles or so. So hang in there if your mpg is not where it should be! I don't have to add oil very often either...I check every 700-1000 miles and it needs maybe a 1/4 of a quart. I do get a little heat from the engine on my legs at times and can make me pretty warm in the cabin. Odd it does not seem that way all the time! I am enjoying my car w/o looking at the gas guage! Great car!!!! undefined :D

I just went on about a 250 mile trip. Driving about 200 miles of that on highway doing about 75 MPH and the reset mountain driving I got somewhere between 23-24 mpg. It has gotten better as I have put more mileage on it however. It was not that good in the beginning. I now have 7500 miles on mine.
It gets better, new I got at best 23.5mpg. Now with 12K, I hve three times got 27.5mpg. The problem is finding a road I can set the cruz at 65 mph without getting run over or having the discipline to do it for 350+ miles...It's hard with such a fun car.
Just completed a weekend jaunt to the cottage. Was coming back Sunday, so I stopped and filled the car with regular gas (89 octane rating). I've got about 5200kms on the car and just did an oil change.
Drove back about with 3 people and a small dog in the car with all the accompanying luggage. Did not really obey the speed limit - road speed varied from 0-160kms/h most of the time at around 120kms/h with the air conditioning running all the way and windows closed, sunroof closed.
MPG is not really a concern for me, but subjectively I would say that I am getting better fuel economy now than when new. I've got 300 kms on the same tank so far with a little over a quarter tank left and I've been in city/stop and go traffic since Monday. I'll post later the exact mileage on this tank, but if I extrapolate, I'll get a bit over 400-450 kms or a bit over 250-280 miles. Thats about 17-18 mpg. A trip computer would help here, but it just feels like I'm able to get more mileage out of a tank these days.

I never thought I'd be thrilled to get 20mpg, but I just managed that on a long 260 mile, mostly highway road trip. I was cruising at 80-85mph most of the time and wasn't trying to get good mileage, but it was a joy to beat my lifetime average of 17mpg!
Just had my best tank of gas at just about 20 MPG and I've got about 2000 mi on the car.
This was based on 87 octane, 1/2 highway (65 to 90 mph), 1/2 city. Yup, I can feel the mileage increase as the car settles in.
Not that the bad mileage really ever bothered me. It just was weird that a 3000 lb sports car was getting worse mileage than my wife's Audi Allroad (2.7lL V-6 twin turbo, 4500 lb)
