Cruise Control?
Cruise Control?
I've looked through all the Mazda paperwork I could find available, but I can't find anything that mentions cruise control. I know that it's essentially standard for all Mazdas, but with no mention I thought I'd check. Does anybody know if it's scheduled for the RX-8?
Also, the presskit mentions White as a color, but only for the domestic market. Is that for the US Domestic market (since it's in English), or the Japan Domestic market since that's Mazda's home country?

I have CC for my MT Prelude, and before that my MT Accord, and before that my MT Pontiac. It disengages when you press the clutch pedal or the brake pedal, and just does the best it can to maintian speed with that gear. If you slow down because you're in 5th going 30MPH up a steep hill that's your fault.
Look on the steering wheel in some of the pictures on this site (I can't attach it, it's too big). On the right hand side of the steering wheel you can see the buttons related to cruise control, i.e. resume, accel, cancel and such. Hope this helps.
and yes cruise control is available in manuals
it'll just stay in the gear you put it in and accelerate/decelerate accordingly. depressing the clutch or pop out the gear will cancel your cruise control
