actually there was a thread about how dealers forgetting to install the pin since it is something that is done as part of an arrival checklist...go back to where you bought it, have them install the thing, for free with rental car free, also have them check the rest of the post arrival list make sure they didn't forget anything else

What does this pin look like? I found a black metal bracket sitting on the back seat with a pin sticking out one end. Is that it? I didn't know what it was so I threw in the glove box.
