WA Console Carpeting...?

Just wondering if your RX8 has carpet inside the console compartments... Bought mine used, and it does not have any cloth inside. Just the foamy pads in the cup holders.

Also wondering where should i look for replacements, or substitute cloth?

Haha, thanks.

But no, I mean the consoles, under the slider lid, and the one in the back. I saw a pic, where someone had their lid open, and it had a cloth liner inside. Looked similar to the cloth liner in the trunk.

Too bad I cant find that damn pic now...

yes, there's a piece of lining that you can remove. sort of like a liner sheet that's like the carpeting but cut to the shape and rests at the bottom of the compartments.

don't know where you can get it. try the dealership and if they have it, you should be able to purchase it somewhere else also. if not, then you can buy from the store and cut it yourself.

You have to water the compartment daily and make sure they get plenty of sun and heat, so you need to leave them open, until it grows back

I attached some pics of the area your asking about. They show the liner that comes with the car.

Yes, this. God, pictures, you rule.

Now that what I'm talking about is clear enough, assuming I don't want to get anally raped by the dealership... what could be used as a viable substitute?
