Considering an 8, Part II

Ok guys, I have narrowed my search down to two cars and the 8 is in the lead. Are there any things I should be aware of upon taking delivery? (i.e. with the S2000, it was common for dealers to forget to take out the spring spacers). Also, is there a thread that talks about the common issues/problems with the car?

There are tsbs that address common problems. There are technical service bulletins that Mazda NA has come out with: http://www.finishlineperformance.com...ocs/index.html
Just check out the faq, rx8 discussion, and tech garage for more info. Have you test driven it yet? and what are your other choices?

Just buy it!! Surf the threads, learn the quirks. Trust me, you will love it. As for the S2000 thing, buy your 8 from a dealer that has a clue.

Good luck!!
