Cold Turkey this xmas

Flying back home to Ireland for xmas. Going to be 3 weeks of cold Turkey without my 8. The bright side is that I've photos online when I get really 8-sick... What's the most you've gone without touching your 8?

Only one day for me. Unfortunate, though, because I'd like not to put so many miles on it so quickly.

Well it helped that I had a whole lot of other things to miss as well, like sunshine, my girlfriend, my family, fresh air, normal 21% oxygen levels, normal <1% CO2 levels, fast food, home cooked food, any food other than boat food, sleep, a comfortable bed, beer, regular clothes, television, movies, not having 8 bosses checking up on you all the time, Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, not getting woken up in the middle of what little sleep i was getting to fix broken things, etc, etc, etc :D

By the time my separation is complete it will be 6.5 months!! I need to move, I live in upstate NY and I worked my *** off for 2 years saving for my 8 and refuse to drive it in the winter, I put my car in storage in a warehouse on 10/2/04 unless there is some emergency I will not see it again until 4/16/05! I am going crazy counting down the days, its worse than when I was waiting to pick it up from the dealer for the first time....

10 days for a trip to California, where I must have seen three a day.

Really enjoyed the first drive when I got back.

Amazing that we feel that way about a car.

From Wexford. Some good friends in Galway though. Twill be merry to be sure this year... Wonder if there are any Irish members who actually live in Ireland on the board. You not going home for the holidays then? Texas is definitely warmer

As it stands right now, 39 Days-19hr-15min and counting... Wrecked on Nov 8. They just got the engine out and are looking at another 3 months! I drove the car for 6 months, now it just seems like a wonderful dream ending in a terrible nightmare.

***EDIT***
But!!! I just ordered (for my kids to give me for Christmas) my 1:18 die cast Titanium Gray RX-8 to put on my desk at work to help me thru my troubled times. :D

Take care.
