So i was driviing and ventura and i push the cluth in to take the car out of gear and i hear this load poping sound just as it reaches the floor, now the car wont let me shift into reverse and to go into other gears i have to jam it into the spot.. does anybody know what this could be?

 

Is your clutch pedal still attached to the firewall? If not, that's probably the problem.

I'd be very concerned about load poping from my cluth.

 

sounds like something serious broke under there. How many miles are on it? Looks like it is time for a new clutch.

Try the Fluid...My old car did that...Hose got cut and fluid leaked out...I found out the messy way...Saw it was empty, bought some more brake fluid, added it tried to shift again and it wouldnt go I went under the hood to see the stuff everywhere...

 

Hah... that sort of happened to my Miata. Clutch master cylinder gave out. Managed to get it to the dealership by filling up the reservoir. It didn't spray everywhere.

An easy thing to check... if it's not the pedal.
