Car's first ignition of the day "ROARS"

I noticed that in the morning when I got to work and the RX8 has been resting all night, the very first ignition of the day has a bit off a "ROAR" to it that sounds very aggresive and brings a smile to my face. My car is all stock 06 except for the RP shifter. I was wondering does anyones experience this?

Yeah, if your stock 8 is roaring, you might want to get it checked out.

2 years ago, my car was having warm start issues. The dealer looked at it and sent me away, not able to find any problem. Then it started roaring, sounding like it had a loud exhaust system. I took it back to the dealer. This time they said I needed a new engine. That was August 2005, 13k miles on the car.

You've been around long enough to understand that some people are not as smart as you. I get really tired of smart *** responses to someone’s question. This person is really excited and sure, maybe they didn't do much searching but jeeeeeezzz! Can't you guys give people a break sometime! ****! Everyone’s gotta start somewhere.

On our local forum, we make special effort to nudge people along and hold their hand while they get used to their car and the forum. NO ONE EVER COMPLAINS because we offer help, advice or at least make them feel welcome!

Sorry for my rant... I’m just tired of this ****!

I just wanted to post a thread on the more positive side than all the negative sides that you see a lot. Thanks for all the replies even yours NOTEARS316 but it wasn't a complaint or problem with my car.(I have read the thread or casual glanced over it and mine is not the same) I just wanted to see if anybody else finds this simple pleasure in this wonderful car.
-Thanks for looking out Silver Eight your definitely one of the guys that make this forum so great and this forum a big part of fully enjoying the RX8.
-NGORX8 has got jokes, if I ever drive home to Walnut I'll hit you up. lol.

I can't really remember what mine sounded like OEM. Adding intakes & exaust has altered mine considerably. I do not have a garage but I do back it up to the house so when I cold start it I do get a nice start up sound. It's kind of like my second cup of coffee.

I am experiencing the same thing with my 8. When I start it in the morning for the 1st time, the engine sounds very loud and rough until I let the clutch out, then it seems to be fine. Any ideas?
