Carbon Fiber Hood

I am considering a crbon fiber hood for my 8. I am concerned because the ones I have seen here in Florida look faded and like crap after being in the sun.

Please post pros, cons, etc. Which brands are best. What seperates the quality.

Thank you.

I have never had one myself, but have seen many that faded. It looks like the coating on it chips off easily also. I always wondered if it was that they bought cheap ones and that was why or if they all just do that.

CF hood = Waste of money. Unless you get one with vents to cool your engine better.

Or some people just genuinely like the look. Look up deedubs car, that thing is sick.

^You are right, DEEDUBS car does look sick. If he likes the look, then he should get it, but if he is trying to go carbon fiber because it is lighter than stock, i must advise him not to, because you wont save much, if any, weight.
