Mazzy, like Mazzy Star.

 

I'm not one for naming cars and always made fun of people who did. I even referred to my ford explorer as "the ford" for the 3 years I had it. But the night I brought home my RX I immediately named her Chun-Li (cuz shes my lil' street fighter ). It wasn't until searching wikipedia later that I realized Chun-Li translated means "Spring Beauty", which was all too fitting considering I found her on Valentine's day. Still waiting for the personalized plates to get here

 

Oddly enough the only car's I've ever been compelled to name were 30 years old or more. I've loved and doted on the newer ones but they never told me their names.

 

Mine is named Eleanor because its silver and just like the shelby in gone in 60 seconds its my baby.

i named my rx8 "Penelope" its fitting the name sounds sexy and the car is sexy

 

The first 3 times I drove my 8 after purchasing it, black betty came on the radio (it was weird - think transformers communicating through the radio)... of course the 8 is black, and my car is as just as temperamental as a woman and about as expensive.

I like to think the car named itself.

 

Mine is naomi which is honest and beautiful. ha ha
