Angry Car keyed, twice.

so yesterday i get out of class and walk to my car and nitice a deep scratch on my trunk over the mazda emblem, so after seint that i walk around my car only to find that there are 4inch scracth makrs on my front fender, 2 on the drivers side door, 1 on the driver passenger door and then another on my rear driveer fender. some ******* little bitch keyed my car and there deep through the paint and on the metal. pissed as i was this **** happens, so i call my insurace and report it and now i have to pay my 500 comp deductable.

Now the kicker i go back to class today and i park about 1/4 mile from my class in a open parking lot with no one around me so i dont have this **** happen again. I go to class and when i walk back to my car there are now 4 new ******* scracth marks. now i have 2 6 inch long ones on the top of my trunk, a really deep 5 incher on my hood and a new longer scratch on my front fender again.

I only take 1 class and is only a hour long, what the ****... Now it apears i have some little ****** who is searching for my car and ******* it up. I dont know any one at the school and i seriously have no idea who would be doing this **** to my car.

Now i have to worry about this **** whenever i go to class. I do have a question for the group here my insurance adjuster didnt call me back today about this so i dont know, is the new damage a new claim where i would have to pay out another 500 bucks for the deductable or can it be added on the existing claim since it only happened one day later and now seems to be caued by the same little ******?

any info would be appreciated thanks guys.

You need a camera based security system for your car

First off, if the adjuster didn't see the car and you weren't too descriptive, then just treat it as the original damage and that upon further inspection that you found more. Only say that IF he asks. Having said that, and I know you're pissed because I would be off my rocker......just where is this school and what grade/level are you? I ask becuase I hope you just typed this and anger was the reason behind the inability to construct a coherent sentence.
BTW.......I hope you find out who it was......and they pay dearly in some fashion.

+1.. and for SNTP's idea too.. not necessarily USE the bat, but certainly have it at your side as a visual aid for the little *******. Also, camera phone.. catch him in the act.

This is so shitty

+1 for using the car as bait. I would just skip class and see who is doing it. Then beat the **** out of them.

I agree with the bat thing!
This wasn't a random act, so you better start thinking about who you could've pissed off. Did you cut anybody off in traffic(even not knowingly)? Shoot anyone the finger while driving?
Hit on somebody's GF?
Have you had any words with anyone at school in the last week or so?
Do something and think about it while waiting in those bushes to beat the crap out of them. There had to be something since they apparently singled you out twice!
Also, pay attention to who might be waching you as you drive in and park. Obviously............. let them see you walk into the building and then sneak out another way and catch them in the act.

With the insurance, if the adjuster is decent, its the same kind of damage two days in a row, they will probably put it all in one claim.

My guy, when I had my hail damage claim, added a door ding in for me to be fixed. Said it looked like a hail stone hit it to him

I'm sure all will be fine. Now stake out that lot with several of your buddies, and get the jerk when he comes back for round three!

Not sure about the insurance part, only time i have dealt with the insurance company they totaled my car. Hopefully you can catch the person doing another key job, before you get it fixed, and make them pay for it.

Big ******* surprise there; deadbeat cops nowhere around for the REAL crimes, yet when you're one foot into the yellow zone they slap a $50 or $100 sheet of paper under your wiper like it was nothing. On top of paying their salaries!

By the way, I'm 100% in support of using whatever violent means necessary if you were to find out who did it. Look at it this way: their life is worth less than your valve stem cap, the least you can do is cap their ***.

(Sorry in advance Police34)

Plus campus police are the worst, it's like they're upset that they were denied jobs at the bigger stations so they take it out on the students. My friends had their on-campus apartment broken into with everything of value stolen. Twice. TWICE!!! They just got the generic "oh, we'll probably never find them." line with an impressively apathetic tone both times. No follow up call or anything, and upon calling, nobody knows what the **** is going on. Useless. I'd be surprised if they even looked at the case file before throwing it into a filing cabinet to be forgotten. Oh, but they know if you're late to pay a parking violation! </rant>

Anyway, I say have some friends park near your car when you go into class next time and try to photograph whoever is doing the damage. That way, you can happily transfer the monetary damage on to the asshat's shoulders.

While beating the snot out of the ******* who's doing this may sound appealing, I'd have to advise against it. But I do agree with the idea of getting some friends in with cameras to catch the perp in action and have REAL police take action/ sue them in court. Besides why hurt them once, when putting "destruction of property" charges against them would feel so much better. Granted they wouldn't be thrown in jail for that, but having their name on a police report in DEFINITIVE connection to a crime is bad juju for them.

^^I think it more likely that the damage was done by a petty, spiteful idiot who knows they will probably never have a car as nice. Pure jealousy & stupidity, that's all it is.

The bat sounds satisfying- just make sure the creep doesn't have a gun.

I may not post that much, at all really. But this is one of those things that pisses me off more than anything else. A lot of people, ok most people, oh hell damn near everyone has no respect for anyone elses things anymore. When I was a kid I was taught to treat someone elses stuff like it was mine. And I take good care of my stuff because I don't have the money to go replacing things all the time.

If it was me I would park the car all by its self walk to class, sneak out the back and hide with a cam. Then I would press charges and have him/her pay for my nice new paint and hope to god that they get jail time.

This is so true. I've been messed with also. Read 1/2 way down my post.

People are so jealous and just because they can't have something nice...this is what happens!!

When I was in college, my wife and I had to park on the street. One eveving, an uninsured drunk driver managed to sideswipe BOTH, yes BOTH of our cars. We were out 2 deductibles and our insurance paid the rest. In order to deal with my anger and NOT go pop a cap in the guy, I came up with the following sociological theory (please take it with a grain of salt):

When I am hungry, and don't have time to cook, I can drive up to any number of fast food establishments and within minutes have a hot meal for a few bucks. If McDonald's paid their workers $60,000 a year and required a college education, I would probably pay 25 bucks for that meal.

I freely throw trash into my trash can all week long knowing that within 7 days, I can just roll it to the end of my driveway and someone will carry it away for me. Nice.

Those are just a couple examples of conveniences offered within our society that would not be available if there wasn't a steady supply of . . . . well . . . underlings. The ocasional **** that these underlings do (Like keying the OP's car, and crashing into mine) that costs us money is actually a small price to pay to have the endless supply of labor to do the neasty filthy greasy jobs that the rest of us want to avoid. So, thanks to the OP for paying this year's dues. We will all do it eventually.

Again, take this with a grain of salt, but thinking this way is probably better that thinking about pummelling the guy with a bat or capping him.
