not to mention its huge list of issues but again for some reason its totally OK as long as it not a rotary, reviewers around the world praise it like this is the firs t and last car or some ****
oh its funny last last Sunday at autox, this dude with a brz was there, he got the car maybe a month ago and the tail light is filled with water already ... lmao, sounds familiar anyone?

Stuck in a love triangle
If I *HAD* to get rid of my 8 and get a sports car in the 30K range, would have gone with a used 09 - 10 vette.

Unfortunately two seaters were out of question. I have to carry my 5 y.o. son around town, so child seat is permanently attached in the back.

Rotary Powered Countryboy
I really dislike those. Had one on the dyno at work. Really underpowered and after driving it just doesn't compare to the RX. I would go buy another rx8 before I would think about a subaru(or scion for that matter)

It definitely would benefit from more power, but in stock form weight to power ratio is not much different from RX-8. Better wheels/tires are must though, they are much worse than what came with Mazda.

You forgot that BRZ/FRS is 300 pounds lighter. It almost fully compensates for power difference. If tuners would be able to get rid of dip in power band between 3000 and 4000 rpm, it will feel much better. Torque is practically the same with RX-8. The deficiency in horse power lies in lower maximum rpm.

My favorite part of this thread was where OP said his goodbyes and informed you on his purchase and most people started flaming the BRZ. We already have a RX8 Vs. BRZ thread. Can't most people be happy for the OP? I'd feel pretty **** if i came back to read my thread and seen my old community had expressed there dislike for my new ride.
The BRZ isn't most peoples cup of tea, deal with it. No need to make the OP feel like he just spend 25grand on a downgrade (which it isn't)
This thread should be closed or merged with the other BRZ thread
