Buying a RX-8

Hey Everyone

I still haven't had a car yet and im 18, just wondering what is best option to go for on a rx-8, a 2004 model is ok? As I don't plan on getting a new one.

Also I'll definitely be needing automatic.

Any suggestions/tips so on is welcome
I'm definitely sticking to rx-8 as my first car

Thanks

heres a nice 1 in the NY area 11k miles for 21k

what is your price range also? u can find higher mileage 1's for 16-18k maybe lower depending how far u are willing to go and lower miles for the low 20's

Thanks for the replies
I'd say cheaper is better lol and color preference = dark colors or gray/silver
But ive never had a car, would difference of 10k miles vs 30k miles have much difference
or a 2004 vs 2005 or 06 model?

well it all depends on what you are able to afford i mean theres 1 with 140k miles for 10k thats a manual transmission but you get what i mean =P. really the only way u are gonna find exactly what you want is by searching and driving and dont just stick to the rx8 try other cars in your price range see if anything fits you better. i know its hard as a first time buyer and ill give u any help i can but i cant make the decision i can just point out some alright deals.

browse www.autotrader.com and see if anything catches your eye either post it in this thread or msg it to me in private msgs so u dont **** off the search gods. it would also help keeping said search gods off your back if u are a hot girl and posted pictures haha

the difference between the 2004 and the others in the automatic is the engine is a little stronger in the newer cars but either for a starter car isnt bad as long as u love the car you drive. the mileage between 10k and 30k isnt that huge at 30k the engine is a little more broken in which isnt a bad thing but of course lower mileage is always gonna cost more and of course u have less to worry about with someone abusing it

Thats weird, the MANUAL one(not automatic 1 you linked) is 1 year older + 20,000 more milieage, yet it is only $2,000 cheaper?

(PS: Do you have other recommendations of 2 door 4 seater coupes?)
Thanks

as for the prices dealers usually have a set markup price which is usually around 6k over what they paid for the car thats why its different from car to car but u can usually get them down on the price especially near the end of the month
