Found a local VR R3 with 38k miles...he agreed to go down to $17,000 on price. Owner passed all the usual questions, keeping down carbon deposits, topping off the oil regularly, etc. Sounds like a good deal, right?

Is the deal good enough to stop the search for an ABM? What should I do??

 

Only you can decide if you'll settle for a different color.

 

Go for blue, no question. Red is (in my opinion) a dumb color. Blue is what it's about.

 

if you really want an ABM, there's one in the "for sale" section for $2K more at 25K miles. shipping would probably run you about $600-$800.

 

Go with blue...my favorite color too.

 

Had no idea my wife hated VR, she said no way. She wants ABM. I didn't think she even knew the colors... I guess that settles it.

Find a black one - rarest and easily fastest :D

 

Here in Aus we have Black, Blue, Red, Silver, Titanium grey and White.

White is sexy as f%$@ but I have the black which with a bit of effort looks so much better than the others IMO. ( I am Biased though)

 

You have R3s in all those colors or just RX-8s in general?

 

Funny how I always see Blue behind me.

 

While it is a used car, you got to get what's available. Who knows if a ABM will be available or not. You don't have the luxury of being really picky :P

Wow, that's pretty cool - of course the wheel is on the wrong side , but I imagine that helped you get all the colors.
