lol No I never delivered food there. I'm just addicted to their General tso's chicken. I moved to Mays Landing now. I miss that food.

I've done numerous repairs, spending lots of time and money on a car that is relatively new.

I have a few close friends who are rotary owners and I've followed every possible maintainace procedure to keep my 8 healthy. I love this car and the rotary engine, I am not bashing it. Its just, my 8 in particular is falling apart and I can't deal with the repairs and frustration right now. I will start this week shopping around for a new or used car and trade my 8 for it.

I wish you all good luck with your 8s and Godspeed.
sounds like driver related problems

HMM? No, I don't think so. But thx for your input. Obviously you words are driven by monumental ignorance as to what I'm going thru or been thru. Besides, I've decided to keep the car and have it fixed by a rotary shop, rather than the incompetent "ASE" certified technicians in mazda dealerships all across the nation.

It's quite funny how butthurt some of you get when someone has some bad experiences with an 8 and moves on or at least considers it. It just reeks of insecurity and doubt it your own cars. The guy had bad luck, he was voicing some frustration and saying goodbye, it happens with every car on every car forum. The difference is every forum doesn't have some of the whiney little ******** that we have here. Alright, now let me have it, give it the ole fanboi try.

Again to OP, there're tons of great cars out there. Find the one that you love, have a big smile, sign the contract, and drive it home !

  1. ASE certified technicians are NOT trained for rotary engines, you'd have to go to the mazda factory school and specialize
  2. i own both an FD and an RX8
  3. your assumptions own you, which is probably why your 8 isn't running well and why you're getting rid of it

hopefully your rx8 goes go to proper hands

Wow; maybe if we all said "Crossfire" or "search threads" whenever possible, we would all have 3,000+ posts.

If you would read all my postings here rather than reading the first one and posting the latest reply, you would see that I changed my mind in getting rid of my 8. I was pissed at the service I got at the dealership and I overreacted. Get over it.
Your ASSumptions of ME are irrelevant. Therefore I grant you your new certification. Congrats and keep up the good work.

Good luck Silver. I have an '04 and although I've had no problems somedays I wonder since my b2b warranty will soon be over ('cept for the exteded drive train piece which we get another year). I think you qualify too. So if the specialist finds the problem might want to go to the dealer to see if the problem is still covered.
