I loved my new 8 from the second I drove it off the lot... but today I saw my first empty onramp in decent weather leading to a wide open highway since finishing my breakin period...

I LOVE THIS CAR.

Also, I thought I should try the cruise control since I haven't used it once since I bought the car. Turned the cruise on, noticed it worked, realized car instantly became less fun to drive, turned cruise off, resumed fun.

Why would anyone use the cruise in this car?!

reasons for cruise include reduction of speeding tickets, using less gas, looong trips where you can move the seat allll the way back .

freeway on ramps are by far my favorite thing to tack with my 8.

 

Be careful to look for cops when merging onto the freeway as before you know it you will be at 80+ mph, I'm sure you knew this already

I just finished breaking my 8 in, too, and I couldn't agree more. At first I wasn't really revving it, and it was pretty awesome. Then I tried upping the ante a bit, but still shied away from more than 6,000rpm--and it was way, way more awesome. And now that break-in's over, holy hell. Also, it's a great way to trip my friends out. (Y'know, the way it pulls, pulls, pulls to redline.)
