Bought it, But....

After waiting nine months and finally getting rid of my 04 M3 last week I bought the silver grand touring edition 6 spd today.....But when we walked out to the car to take dilivery my wife, while on the passenger side of the car, said, "I think you are going to die when you see this." As I walked over to the passnger side I noted a fine scratch line on the front and rear passenger door. We did not notice this when we checked out the car prior to agreeing to purchase it and I am sure the sales guy also did not note it. I can rub my fingernail over it and barely feel the scratch so I am hoping the dealer can rub it out. I have often heard that if you can feel it with your fingernail, then the scratch will not come out. Whatever, I'm sure they will take car of it. For now I am just plain happy. This car is so much better then the M3 and is so much more fun to drive.

I went from a Porsche 996 to an RX8. Of course, I've modded it a bit now....

A friend of mine owns an M3, and one weekend I drove it 2 days straight while he was out of town. Neck snapping acceleration at an 8000 RPM redline, with great handling that is only slightly below the agility of the RX-8. The SMG and paddles were fun to play with too. The last thing I ever feel in that thing is boredom. I still get thrills out of it everytime I ride in that car. I could easily entertain myself with an M3 for years.
