Hey guys, recently had issues with my air conditioning so had to take out my touch screen radio. I had a mechanic replace the touch screen with a deck that came from an rx8 with a bose stereo system. Mine just has the base system. Im only getting about 10% of output of all my speakers now. Mechanic said I will have to run all the speakers to my 5 channel amp and hook up my subs then run the amp to my bose deck now? Is that correct? Its getting done today so any help would be appreciated. I need to let the audio guy know what to do!

 

Sounds like you have the wrong audio guy.

 

No he said it would be no problem, I just would like to know, so I can be aware of whats happening

 

I believe Bose deck doesnt have AMP output only Line out so you need to send the signal to an amp.

 

and so I dont get screwed around on what he should be doing and what im getting charged for

 

So hook all the speakers to the amp, then run a signal from the stereo to the amp? Fairly obvious, so nothing to difficult?
