Can anyone recomend me a booster seat for my RX8 for our little girl... We bought the tyco superbooster last night, which was the one the girl threw a hissy fit about and was the only seat that she wanted... Well, it doesnt fit in the backseats very well, the seats are a bit contoured and well the bottom of the booster is not haha.

Anyone have any recomendations for this? Maybe a narrower booster seat, or something that you have found that fits better... Any help is appreciated here, thanks in advance.

 

I use one made by COMBI I attached another photo with the seat in the car to give you an idea of its width, please no comments about the roll bar I hardly ever go anyplace with him in the back.

 

That looks like a much better fit that the one we got... I take it that it is narrow enough to fit between the bolsters? And still gives you access to the seatbelt latch?

 

Yes, not the easiest access to the buckle but not that bad.

 

Not to revive an old thread, but I based on this thread I just bought a Combi Dakota like this off of Amazon for my brand new RX-8. I can confirm that it fits perfectly in my 09 rear seats. Much better than the Graco Turbobooster I use in my Mazda5. The buckle area is a little bit tight, but I can't imagine anything fitting the seat contour much better. Thanks Expo1!
