Blown Fuse?
I was already having a bad night, but i was coming home from work and all of a sudden, my entire audio deck shut off. then i smelt a burn smell. My navigation didnt work either. I dont know what it is, but im hoping it is just a fuse. Any help would be much appreciated

I don't mind pistons
Is your locking remote working? If not, its probably the 15amp fuse at the inside fuse compartment by the drivers side clutch pedal. I blew that a couple weeks ago installing gauges....
EDIT: sorry, its a 15amp MINI fuse.

If you smelled something burning, replacing a blown fuse will not fix the problem. Check the wiring protected by the blown fuse (assuming it is blown) before replacing it. Has someone been mucking around with the under-dash wiring, or wiring anywhere in the car for that matter? If so, look there first.

Remote is working. unfortunately, something even worse. my car decided to not start this morning, either. so now im waiting for road side assistance...
as with messing with the wires. we did install a subwoofer in the trunk, but we used the rear speaker as the source for the subwoofer, but we used a fuse under the dash right next to the left door, not under the dash.

Still could have overloaded the wiring if the fuse to that left door is larger then the fuse to the stero. You linked the two fuse by link the subwoofer to what I'm assuming is a larger fuse voltage, should have link it to the stero or had a capatictor in bewteen. I'd check the wiring from woofer for melting and the wiring leading from the fuse. Then get the short tester probe that lights up to cgecek the connection. Hopefully what you smelt was the wiring from the Subwoofer and you entire fuse box hasn't shorted out. Disconnect the subwoofer at the left door fuse, and see what happens.
Probable and a starting point. I'm just looking at best case scenario and that you haven't shorted out your entire wiring including the ignition of your car.
