Obvious answer is Mercedes...but I have a feeling this is far beyond the obvious.

Looks like a Wankel from a Mercedes C 111 circa 1970. But I could be wrong.

Well Ryan got it right - you guys should go look under your hoods!

I was cleaning under the hood this afternoon... and was surprised to find the little MB Star under there... thought Mazda had higher standards than that

Your pic reminded me of a complaint. What's the deal with the opaque windshield washer reservoir and no low fluid light? Not very driver friendly. There is a cute dipstick (hmm - can I say cute dipstick???) in the tank, but how about a translucent tank like virtually every other car maker?

While I'm on this, I'm a Rainx fan. You might wanna try their washer fluid if you haven't. Much better than the blue goo!

Sorry for the hijack!

Mitsu.....

Mitsu is all over your '8! :D

I was just working on the S-DAIS system, the little electric valve is Mitsubishi.

Hmm....So when we people tell us that they have a better car we can just laugh and say that we got the best of what their company has and we left the the rest of the crap for their car.

Hmmmm ... electronic components from Mercedes in my RX-8 would be scary.

Those guys have nothing but quality problems at the moment.
