not winning blue, although i had a difficult choice between winning blue and velocity red. i chose velocity red because the red is closer to my red r1 than the winning blue is to my champions edition r1. the birds seem to find it where ever i park it.

LOL, still a funny thread...

The thing is, if you were a bird you would not know who was bad or good, "bird brain" in all, LOL...but I actually hear birds (certain types...like crows) are VERY smart. So, this is what I suggest...

Park your car away from trees and lights, wires, etc and go on stakeout. If the bird is a common dummy bird (pigons...the featherd rat, LOL) feel sorry for him...he aint to bright so you can't blame him for much.

Now, if it's a crow "VERY SMART" then you have a problem. That bird does not like you for some reason and is not so much craping but AIMING for your car. I'm telling you...crows are VERY smart so if it's a crow then he/she might have some personal problem with you.

LOL, but I just got hit with 2 bird bombs so I aint to happy right now....LOL

i'm happy to start and maintain a funny thread. (it was my intention) i still think the birds are after me for some reason. i mentioned one time on my bike last summer. i didn't say how many times a bird swooped down at me while on my bike. it can't be colors unless they hate both red and blue. i have a red bike and a blue bike. i have a red jacket and a blue jacket. i have a multi colored helmet and a blue helmet.

i wish i could have a truce treaty with a representative from the birds. where's big bird staying?

I have a brilliant black rx-8. Within a few days of my washing it, I always seem to get stealth attacked my a bird. However, if I seem to survive the first few days after a wash, the car won't get hit. I don't know what it is. Maybe something in the soap. Haha. :D

Maybe you should make a scarecrow, and put it in your trunk. every time you leave the car, set up the scarecrow.

A haiku I composed on this very subject:

Glistening like new,
fresh wax job like a beacon...
birds perfect their aim.

But really -- birds don't think about where they crap -- they just let loose whenever the urge hits. The best protection against bird turds is several coats of Zaino (also protects paint from eggs - ask me how I know) and don't park under any objects birds can perch on, like trees, wires, light poles, etc.

No, I really think they aim. think about it. How often do you see crap on the ground versus on a car. Now think about how much more area is covered by just the ground than cars. They aim. They know it pisses us off.
