big question!!! please read if you know about border crossing!

i was looking at tirerack.com and was wondering if they have any hidden charges(duty) or anything if i ship tires here or pick them up in the states and bring them across the border?

TireRack has nothing to do with it..it's CCRA....

You will likely have to pay brokerage fees if you ship to Canada....and then Taxes

When I brought mine throughin Vancouver I paid .....GST and PST...and no duty

ok so if i got tirerack to ship to my door and just paid with my credit card i they would just add the extra expense on?

because the winter tires here are like almost 3 times the price as the ones on tirerack

Depending on who delivers them...they will likely come to your door with taxes owing... that could be added to a credit card I'm sure

Canada Customs is very good about taking your money

i though tirerack changed their shopping cart to display the final price including brokerage fees and taxes ?

i have no idea? but that would be wonderful if it was true because i ddint the shipping quote and it was 120 or so dollars so im wondering if thats with the duty? im guessing so

Yes, that's the case. Total price including taxes and brokerage is displayed at the check-out page.

It'll say on the total price. Their breakdown is quite complete.

wtf where did u find that? the only think i found about canadian shipping is that there "MAY be extra charges" and didnt say anything other then that
