That would seem to clarify it EDZRIDE.

The 35, when oriented in the battery box properly, does in fact appear to have the positive (red) terminal inboard and aft in the engine compartment; so no extension required.

The 75/35 appears reversed, so an extension would be required.

So, my original link would appear correct: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

That is good info then, although I am quite happy with the battery I purchased - I'm not sure if I would've sprung for the Red Top anyway.

There's allot to be said for that mindset, especially in today's economy. I appreciate quality, but for the price of one Red Top you could buy three 'regular' batteries, and those three would take you well through or beyond the typical original owner life of the car.

The OEM Interstate has been fine for me, now finishing its 4th year. Interstate is a good value. I've had no problems with Diehards either.

People buy Lexus over KIA for a reason. Same thing for batteries.

Although I didn't buy a Red Top, I did careful research and bought a premium battery that was rated highly. Also, be sure to check the date on your battery before you buy it - you don't want one that has been sitting on the shelf a long time.
