Bent wheel
Well when I first saw the low-profile tires on my 8 I knew it was inevitable. I bent a rear wheel when I hit a pothole while I was going about 50. It felt like a hard impact when I hit it, but I took a look and didn't see anything, and it was holding air so I kept going. It was vibrating a lot though so I thought maybe the alignment was thrown off so I took it in. When they took the tire off though, the inside edge of the wheel was bent and even the tire was damaged. When they rotated the wheel you could really see that it wasn't round at all anymore.
Well I hope that's the last one. I've bent a wheel on each of my last 2 cars, but those were at higher speed and the tire blew out right away.

Yeah I've mastered the art of swerving around potholes since the streets of Sydney are absolutely shocking!
A few years ago I had a riced Civic which had about 3 inches of ground clearance and a fibreglass kit all around it, so swerving was a matter of survival.
