badluck with my 8

I only had the car for three weeks when this happen, all I can say it has been one of the worst things that has ever happen to me. First my brother gets into a fight with my parents, takes my keys and backed up into my other car with the 8 just when I was about to get over it, september 10, my b-day, 12 at night, driving on the freeway where the 101 meets the 5 something on the street, really dark at night and I cant see anything, I ran over something and it broke half of the front air dam of my car, blew out the AC condenser and now my car is sitting at a bodyshop. I don't know if anyone has had it worst then me. Guess what to top it off, the insurance only gave me 1,200 hell man that aint enough. I just hope the body shop can prove to them that I need more.

Well I can feel your pain but the amount the ins. company gave you is dependant on your deductible. If you have a high deductible then you get less from the ins. co.

2K- Drove through a puddle in rain storm = Short Block replacement (insurance)
3.5K- Sideswipped the passenger door on a fence backing ouy of my 200 ft dark driveway (1K repair)

I know where the 101 meets the 5. Geez, they've torn up everything else - when are they gonna fix that whole exchange? It sucks!

My condolences. Honestly, I'd make my brother pay big time if I were you.

Damn that estimate does seem a bit low! They must be attempting to use aftermarket parts and not OEM. I would check that out! Good Luck!
