Autolevel headlight malfunction light

This light just turned on after doing some suspension work on my rear driver's side strut. It is a grand touring model and I have no real idea why it set off. The light never came on before doing the work. Any suggestions?

Hmm, is it me or is the bar connecting to the sensor installed upside down?

Here is my new install, is it supposed to be so tight that it doesn't move? I did a quick install and it felt a little loose.

The bar should move so that it senses the level of the car. If you need to replace it. Go with a used one. It saved me about $600. I had to replace my front one.
