I have an 06 shinka with adv keyless entry...my question is this...do any of you guys have door handles that have a little "play" up and down? i wasnt sure if they were loose or if this is what they are like..its a quite a concern to me as im not really comfortable with their movement...not solid like

Mine feel nice and solid, on the back end, but the front (the part that moves when you pull the handle) has a tiny bit of up and down play in it, still it feels pretty solid to me. Is that what you are refering to, or is the whole lock/handle loose on yours?

 

Mine feel nice and solid. I don't feel any real play in them.

Ditto, rock solid, have it checked at a dealer.

 

to further explain...two parts of the handle..the pull and the base...the base is solid as hell...but the handle pull has up and down play...(and of course) front to back to open the door....i brought it to the dealership on friday (wrey auto,sc) to have my aero kit and some other goodies put on....and the service tech checked it on both sides...to which he concluded both have the same amount of play....im just confused as to what the odds are that both handles are loose?

 

No play in mine, but mine is the GT, not the shinka (if that matters)

well..i wouldnt expect up and down play....im talking when the handle isnt even pulled..just sitting there...i can move it a cm in either direction....

 

Mine is a 06 shinka and it has play.
