I drive a 09 R3. I am just wondering if anybody here get the same rattle that i get.
By the passenger side, glove box + dash area....rattles only past 7500 RPM...Anybody have any clue? Checked the glove box....not that, and nothing seems to be loose by the dash. The car only has 3800 kms on.

Everyone gets it if you're referring to the marble in a can sound.

SEARCH! What you are referring to is called MIAC and is resolved by a coolant restricting valve. Contact your dealership.

Its been know to happen and can be fixed
As stated, the sound is the MIAC-- simple fix at the dealer (they should fix under warranty)
Installation of a coolant valve is the fix.

Good Luck

Had this same problem. My dealer couldn't find any sort of "coolant restrictor valve". The actual Part Number and description is: F100-61-E09 Orifice, Heater Hose.
Thanks to Lane03 and Trubach for this information. Had the same problem on my '09 and had this part installed this morning under warranty, sound/problem is now gone.

Are you talking about the rattling noise in high RPMs?

do you keep your sunglasses in the sunglass pocket? because it could be that i heard a rattle the other day and it ended up being that just my glasses moving around in there

Yes, I was talking about the same issue the OP had and the same fix the others were discussing for MIAC and the "coolant restrictor valve" but my dealer couldn't locate that part. Through searching the others posts and talking with other members, the correct part was stated in my thread above.
And no, it wasn't my sunglasses rattling around. The sound to me sounded more like loud intermittent static coming through my speaker but originated in front of the passenger seat and radio was off. This sound was most noticeable at the top of 2nd and 3rd gears (merging onto highway) above 7000rpms or so up to redline
