attemptin to trade my at8 for mt8 10am 2morrow.Any Suggestions???

I just made an appointment for 10 am at coryfairbanks mazda to try to trade in my at 8 for a mt 8. I was assured i can just swap my kit on the new car for free through them. Anyone that has done this type a trade or anyone with any suggestions please inform me!!!!! Im trying to go lower on my payment or stay the same.

kit? what kit?

and if you are going to a mt from an at, then it will either have a lower package (gt auto to sp mt) or have more miles (maybe both) if you are getting it for a lower price than your at because the at 8s are roughly a grand cheaper than mt 8s (new).

Car dealers allways go for the win-win situation they give you less for your trade in then a private buyer would and try and get a profit from both cars .

So try and sell your car privately first, then go and crunch the numbers with them if you want a new car or look for a second hand manual rx8 privately and get yourself a good deal .

CAR DEALERS ALSO MAKE A NICE PROFIT IF YOU FINANCE YOUR CAR THROUGH THEM .

cheers

Some don't want to go throught the hassle of selling it on their own and giving strangers the keys for a test ride even though it can save the seller $$$$$.

i thought about doin that. the thing is i could sell it but then have no car for a bit and i cant afford to do that i need da car to go to work and school and everything else. i know they will benefit from both cars no matter what i do. im just trying to get some suggestions on how i can avoid getting screwed big time. i can accept that they will be in a winwin situation aslong as i got the best deal i couldve gotten in my situation.

In order to win at the dealership, you have to have patience and the willingness to get up and leave to try another day. Young people don't have the patience to place a newspaper ad to sell anything on their own. And when they're at a dealership, they're not thinking about not getting ripped off and the possibility of getting up and leaving; they're thinking only about doing whatever it takes to drive home with that car.

Another one bites the dust is right.
