Arrrgh Mazda Dealership

Ok heres the story back in nov 07 i was driving, lost control and hit the curb damaging my right rear rim. i got the rim replaced at the dealership and they tell me i also need to replace my wheel bearing, but the wheel bearing is covered under warrenty. However they took so long changing my rim that i couldnt wait any longer. I asked the guy that was working on my 8 does it have to be done now or can it wait. he says just get it checked within the next 2,000 miles. so i figured i would wait till my next oil change to get it done. well today when i went in for my oil change i asked about the wheel bearing,....... They do the oil change, check the wheel bearing and then say that the wheel bearing isnt covered under the warrenty and it will cost about $751....#@$%$ i was mad. i have the papers stating it is covered under warrenty that the other service guy gave me back in nov. also if i had waited i could of had it done... I told them i'll hold off on that for now. just wondering what should i do??

Also some how my sun visor split along the sides. how does that happen? i can probably count the amount of times ived used my sun visor. well the sun visor is covered so they ordered me a new one

Try taking it to another dealer, I know this is a common recommendation but it may help you out.

The sun visor issue is a common problem I believe and there might be a TSB about it.

Yup take to another reputable dealer (if there are any in ur area). They give you a loaner car, why didnt you just wait for it to get done?? Mazda is argueably the worst for getting warranty work authorized and when then actually do, you have better jump on it and just suck it up with the loaner until the work is done.

I feel your pain as i wont take my car in for warranty work unless it is something major, just for fact that they are slow and usually will ding up your car (or screw something else up) in the process of performing the warranty work. $10/hr grease monkeys dont give a **** about your car.

Unhappy

I don't like to rain on your parade, but my gut tells me that I doubt that your wheel bearing would be covered under warranty if it was damaged as a result of your accident in which your rim was destroyed.
