I've heard that Mazda is giving $6500 to $7000 on RX8's right now. Anyone know if that is true?

I looked on some Canadian dealer sites and all the pictures of RX8's that I looked at had $7000 off written across the windshields. But that's Canada.

I see $5000 customer cash on the Mazdausa site. Not sure if they are offering more than that. I'm sure you could get a dealer to come down on the price quite a bit.

I was offered $7k (american) off msrp and was still able to talk them down a bit.

You should be able to get it for $500 below invoice - $5000 customer cash.

EDIT: For a 2009 R3, you should be paying around $25,000+TTF
