Anyone ever had their strakes stolen?

It's going to be pretty hard to steal strakes, they are screwed in from the other side... they might as well take the entire vent w/ strakes. Much easier to take is the Accents, rear and front, but that too will take some muscle work to yank off.

The thing is, first you have to realize that stuff gets stolen because their is a market for it. About 99% of the time, people aren't 'stealing' just to be 'stealing', and if they are, their are much better bounties than shiny metal strakes off a car which probably has a very watchful owner.
Unless some RX8 owner with major cajones who is too poor to afford $200 strakes after spending $25k on a car comes along... you're okay.
OH, and btw, I couldn't get my strakes off.. ..easily.. .. . when my whole front end was removed, and I even had the proper screwdriver.

Someone tried to steal Maurice's "hub caps" (the Mazda emblem plastic caps in the centre of the wheel). They are very hard to get out without removing the wheel. Probably just kids looking for emblems.
