Any updates on Scott at Mazsport?

The Professor
The same people who are bashing him now used to call him a perfectionist, or praise his work being top quality, or flawless. They would bash anyone that said otherwise about Scott or had a problem with Mazsport's customer service. Their threads are still alive around here, even if only visible to the mod staff. Some people are just more passionate than others and it works both ways.
Even then I could see he was taking too many orders and getting backed up taking 3 mos to deliver a INTx, then it became 6 mos for his products, then it was a year for some of this products.
I think the reason why some people still defend Scott is because others are claiming to have been totally blindsided by Mazsport, which this wasn't the case for the most notable of cases against them, I mean really, is it common sense to keep pouring money and money and money and time and time and into a company that has just a stripped 20B sitting in the bare engine bay, I mean you can see the ripoff coming from a mile away in that case. But regardless of how much money and time was entrusted with MS it was still their fault, their business, their responsibility.
I can remember talking to Scott on the phone a few times, each time for about an hour or so about tuning with the INTx, and each time I was left with 2 thoughts, firstly, Scott is a nice guy to spend this much time helping me out. Secondly, how can he afford to spend this time talking with me after being so backed up on his orders?
As to what happened to cause this is unknown to anyone, maybe even Scott himself, but the end result was he stopped caring about his business and his customers.
To be honest no one knows what happened, maybe his mother was sick with cancer and he had to do this to pay for her chemo or whatever, or he needed money for something so he used the order money then he couldn't afford the parts to complete his jobs so he had to take even more orders and juggle the money just to make ends meet.
I'm sure it was easy for him to rationalize, I mean they are car parts after all, its not like by not delivering a $400 pipe or $38K custom engine setup that he was robbing Tiny Tim of Christmas Dinner.
To sum up: The writings on the wall were there a long time before very bad things started occurring I saw plenty of people placing their orders just around the same time others were posting threads of the products taking forever to arrive, stick should have known better than to continue throwing his money away on that project, and end of story Scott was wrong to assume that just because a person had $40K, $400, or even $4 to "throw away" on a car that would mean that it would be ok to take it for whatever the reason.

Nicely put Static. If you have the attitude that nothing needs to be explained then you face the consequences. There are two side to every story but if you don't explain your side then you have to face the repercussions.

Honestly I am torn with them because there are some products I like but the rumors that Scott is there has led me to purchase elsewhere. But I do like their prices and the website. Some sites are bitch to search through and I am kind of an impulse buyer (which is very bad when you are into Cars, Computers, and Home Theater) So I like to search by vehicle to see what is available.
Working with Scott would only ruin Brice's business that he worked so hard to get where it is today. Plus he wouldn't lie to everyone. He said he has nothing to do with MazSport and Scott. Never had.

Brice wouldn't be in cahoots with such a person. I think Brice has more moral integrity than to associate himself with a known, shall I say, bad business person.
