anyways you know how I said the dealer put the "new tires" on inside/out?
Well they are directional and need to be fixed, however the dealer says I cannot use the same wheels because they have had tires removed/put back on too many times.

sooo, awesome I gotta buy new rims/wheels. Its ok though there were actually specific ones I wanted to buy. I really liked the looks of the one from the Tokyo drift movie (i first saw the rx8 in that movie so its got a bit of sentimental value).

thats a picture of the rims. Have any of you seen these rims around before? While searching Tire rack I actually found ones SIMILAR to these, however they were chrome, and I dont really want flashy rims or anything, these look more grey. Any one seen em around or have any advice on where to check? been running through pages for a while now.

Not sure what kind of wheels those are but that is the car from Tokyo Drift.

 

I have never heard of wheels needing to be replaced due to having too many tires mounted.

And if that's their excuse... Isn't it their fault that the rims had one too many mounts???

Dude take your picture head to local wheel shop, ask them if hey have order books, start page one look to see if you can find them.

 

well i searched for a while and saw that they are Volk GT-AV wheels. Some one on this forum actually has them (they posted pics a long time ago bout em found it via google). I guess they are discontinued though, so i might be out of luck! Thanks though. If any one decides to sell theirs let me know.
