Is that really true? Becuase, if I'm not mistaken, that is still a run of hte mill, torque converter sporting, power robbing SLUSHbox. Ther eis a big differnece between a TC and one of these computer operated manuals. I know these are always the fastest, but I didn't think true auto's beat rowing your own gears often.

exactly my thought, the Z06 is hundreds of pounds less weight, makes more power, and is about $10,000 cheaper.

of course, there's something to be said about not driving a corvette - since they're everywhere (similar to why I wouldn't consider buying a mustang), but the GT-R really isn't impressing me.

Define "comparable"? (Rems31 and Myself) had a lengthy discussion read the whole thing and understand each other's point

I might look like one. But I know one(saracasm hinted) who sure is!!

I agree with you on that one though!

wtf? No manual transmission? I would never pay 70k for a sports car with an auto!

I totally agree. As I was reading this thread I didn't think anyone was going to say this. It looks like two different cars. One sports car up front, and a Cadillac in the rear. It's like a woman with really wide hips. Skinny and sexy on top and a wide (I'm buying two airplane seats) ***.
