Another Pants on Ground Moment

So I've been chasing a rattle for about a year that happens when either door is closed. While it was on the lift for some exhaust mods in late fall, we tapped on different parts underneath and found/fixed one. Eureka! Until I got it back in the garage at home for winter hibernation. For months, every time the doors closed, which was often since I was doing lots of interior/electronics mods: RATTLE! I just couldn't find where it was coming from. I even pulled the entire interior to Second Skin Damplify everything. Still had that damn rattle. Drove me nuts all winter. Yesterday, I got it out for the first time and drove down to the shop for more exhaust mods. Open/closed the doors = nothing. Aha! Must go away when the exhaust is hot. Changed midpipe. Went over the underside of the car with fine-toothed comb, tack-welding any heat shield that even slightly resembled being loose. Drove home. Parked in garage. Closed door ... RATTLE! Ok I'm really pissed now. Maybe I could hone in on it with the help of my son listening from another angle. Pulled plug on his video game - told him to point towards the rattle when I closed the door. Closed the door. He pointed to the rattle: it was on the breaker panel sevicing the garage. Secured breaker panel door. Rattle gone.

Feel free to spank me now ...
